About this project

Four adjoining shophouses with failed roofs, spalling render and thirty years of ad-hoc signage. The brief was to make them watertight and presentable without flattening the original facade detail.

We re-roofed all four, cut out and replaced the spalled render, re-formed the gutters at a proper fall, and repainted to a palette the owner picked from the original scheme. The timber shutters were repaired rather than replaced where they were sound.
