About this project
A straightforward rear extension on a 20x70 terrace, made less straightforward by the original builder's rear beam, which was not sized for what the owner wanted to put on it.
We replaced the beam, poured a new slab, extended both floors, and reworked the wet kitchen and rear drainage at the same time. The family stayed in the house throughout, so the works were sequenced to keep one bathroom and the dry kitchen live.
