Fluffed opened in Taman Paramount in 2015. Two self-taught bakers, Joe Fong and Charles Choong, built it with no investors and no viral campaign, just cakes, waffles and ice cream made from scratch.

No shortcuts

From the start the rule was to do everything properly. The cakes, ice creams and sauces are made in-house, and the menu follows taste rather than trends.

Still the same corner

Ten years on, the café at 55, Jalan 20/7 is still where it all happens, open daily from 12:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
