Cold Light art-directed a winter series for a KL gear brand whose customers only ever meet snow on holiday, and we took the shoot to Hokkaido and kept the sun below the mountains the whole time so the story lived in blue shadow, and gear and athletes were photographed with the same distant respect, small against the terrain, and the grade pulled all warmth out except one orange accent that travelled through the series like a signal, the exact orange of a Malaysian dusk the brand wanted to carry abroad.
