Cut less, better. A short rail of resolved pieces beats a long rail of maybes — in our studio and in your wardrobe.
We are
Chup®
Chup® is a fashion house built around one long cutting table in Kuala Lumpur. We draft, drape, and argue in the same room, because garments made together fit better than garments made in sequence.
The house stays deliberately small. Fewer hands means every seam has a name attached to it, every collection has a reason, and nothing leaves the atelier that we wouldn't wear on our own backs.
The Cutting Table
Six people, one table, and a shared allergy to shortcuts.

House Rules
If these sound like your rules too, we should probably talk.
Start SomethingThe wearer finishes the garment. We leave room in every cut for the person inside it — their posture, their pace, their plans.
Fabric has the final say. When the cloth disagrees with the sketch, the sketch loses. It has never once been the other way.
Slow is a feature. Late runs, long fittings, patient pressing — the calendar bends to the garment, not the garment to the calendar.
Careers
We hire rarely and carefully — when a chair opens at the table, it matters who sits in it.
Introduce YourselfNo portfolio theatre, no seven-round interviews. Show us something you made with care — a garment, a pattern, a photograph — and tell us why you made it that way. That conversation is the interview.
