Ready-to-Wear
Seasonless staples released in small, numbered runs — cut once, refined for years. When a run sells through, it's gone; the pattern goes back in the drawer for rework, not reprint.

Chup® — a fashion house cutting modern wardrobes with patience, proportion, and play. Drafted in Kuala Lumpur, worn everywhere — for people who dress on purpose.
We keep the atelier small and the standards exact. Each piece is drafted, draped, and worn in-house long before it reaches a rail. Nothing decorative without a reason. Nothing essential cut away. What's left is clothing that keeps its shape — and yours.

Autumn Studies — moving lookbook, 2026
If you're building a wardrobe that lasts, start with pieces that were never rushed.

Your measurements, our blocks. Six fittings' worth of precision folded into two appointments — shoulders that sit, hems that break exactly where they should.

Capsules with makers we admire — weavers, printers, hardware smiths. Short runs, shared credit, and fabric stories you can read up close.

Our Work
Chup® began in 2019 at one shared cutting table — Amira Chen draping, Jonah Lim drafting. The label grew the slow way: one block, one fitting, one stubborn opinion at a time. It is still run from that table. The table is slightly longer now.

Rails we share with people we trust.
Four slow steps between an idea and a rail.
Every piece starts on paper — dozens of lines killed for the one worth keeping. We sketch until the idea stops needing explanation.
Fabric is chosen before form is final. Mills we know by name, fibres we can trace, deadstock we rescue when the hand feels right.
Toiles are worn, washed, sat in, danced in. If a pocket isn't used, it goes. If a seam pulls, we move it — twice if we must.
Small runs, numbered and logged. We'd rather sell out than mark down — and we cut again only when the pattern earns it.
Honest impressions from the people who wear and sell the work.
Choose the way you'd like to be dressed — piece by piece, or a wardrobe at a time.
Core staples from the current run — hemmed to you, ready in a week.
Made-to-measure from our blocks — two fittings, four weeks, your name on the pattern.
A pattern that exists because you do — drafted from zero and archived forever.
Notes from the cutting table — on cloth, cut, and keeping things.

Testing a single twill from Kuala Lumpur humidity to a Berlin winter, and back.

A short essay on trust, utility, and why decorative pockets are a small betrayal.

Ask YoursEach design is cut in a fixed quantity — usually 40 to 120 pieces — numbered, logged, and never reprinted as-is. When a run sells through, the pattern returns to the drawer for rework. If it comes back, it comes back changed.
Yes. We run measurement sessions over video with a printable guide, and confirm everything against a toile shipped to you before the final cut. Two of our twelve stockist cities also host trunk fittings each season.
Ready-to-wear runs XS through 4XL as standard, graded on real bodies rather than a scaled block. Made-to-measure and bespoke are, by definition, yours.
No — and that's a feature. Scarcity keeps us honest about what deserves to be cut again. Reworked descendants of sold-out pieces appear in later collections with a new number.
Less than you think. Cold wash, line dry, iron the collars, ignore the rest. Every garment ships with a one-card care note — the whole card, not fine print.
