Clay Studies was a product development diary for a ceramics workshop in Ipoh working an hour from the clay pits of Kuala Kangsar, and we documented every failed glaze and slumped form alongside the successes, numbering all of them equally, and the honesty became the identity, with the final range presented next to its own rejects, and the launch publication printed the whole sequence uncut so buyers could see the path.
